Gown selections.

Now guys, have you ever come across the situation where your fiancee wants you to go bridal gown shopping? How do you respond? Do you agree enthusiastically or with "mild enthusiasm"?

I know for a fact, many guys just tolerate it at most. Amongst my friends who are about to get hitched, it is one of the most "tiring" of times. Some even say that it is a very dangerous place to be. I kind of understand cos us guys, basically do not know how to answer this question, "How do I look in this, <>?"

How does a guy answer that? It is a potential catch-22 situation for the guy. Yep lose-lose situation that is. Why so? This question is very similar to the age old, "Am I fat?" question. Any answer might be taken the other way or totally ignored or we get the response, "you're just saying that to make me happy". There is a very high risk of upsetting the bride-to-be.
What if she likes it a lot, but you answer no? Scary situation to be in I would say.

The other usual complaint I hear from brides-to-be about their husbands-to-be is that after say 3 changes of different gowns, the guy's standard answer is either "ok" or "not ok". I kinda relate to that cos I'm guilty of that sometimes. I know for a fact, after X amount of gown changes, everything looks almost the same to me...

So guys, what would you do if you were in that situation? Or do you say no to following your bride to bridal boutiques?

Welcome!
